What Happened to Optical Media?

Optical media, referring to CDs, DVDs, and BDs, have played a vital role in computing over the years. After the floppy disk became obsolete, CD drives became mainstream in computers. It came to a point where most software was distributed on CDs. Then came the DVD, which quickly replaced the CD in many ways and had its drives implemented in most computers. The third generation of optical media, the Blu-Ray disc, might not be as well-used. Use of all three generations is declining overall. How can the technology world survive without optical media? iPhone 5c, Apple’s “Newest” Phone?

With the simultaneous release of the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s, Apple has expanded their iPhone product line to accommodate two phones. The iPhone 5s was Apple's traditional yearly upgrade to the iPhone, where it added many features to the previous generation, the iPhone 5. Apple designed the iPhone 5c, on the other hand, as a "cheaper, but still brand new" budget phone. It does, in fact, cost $100 less than the iPhone 5s. Pages 5.0: A Different Program

You've upgraded to Apple's most recent OS X Mavericks. You will probably go ahead and upgrade Apple's suite of apps, including Pages. But wait a second, is it upgrading or downgrading? The new Pages 5.0 and Pages 4.3 are two completely different programs. Pages 5's code was completely rewritten, in order for Apple to set the ground for new things to come with the program. iPhone 5 Camera vs. Point and Shoot

Lately, there have been many arguments about whether the iPhone 5 camera is actually better quality than a true point-and-shoot camera. If you already own an iPhone 5, buying a true camera could be considered a waste of money. That is, if the iPhone camera is truly of high quality. Has Apple improved the camera enough?
